    Man found severely injured in hit-skip near Blacklick

    BLACKLICK, Ohio ( WCMH )  –  The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit-skip that severely injured a man east of Columbus early Wednesday morning.

    At approximately 2:30 a.m. deputies responded to the 7800 block of Jefferson Run in Jefferson Township, near Blacklick, and found an unknown male laying down in the front yard of a residence. The man was suffering from serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.

    Deputies report that parts of a white 2016 Chevrolet Impala and its side mirror were found at the scene, but it was determined that the driver of the vehicle fled the scene.

    The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the crash and asks that anyone with additional information to contact the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Unit at 614-525-6113.
