    COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) – From the Columbus Italian Festival making its return, to several fall and Halloween themed events, here are things to see and do this weekend in central Ohio.

    Boo at the Zoo

    Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, Oct. 11-13, 18-20 and 25-27

    • Enjoy a fun night full of Halloween celebrations at the zoo for the annual event. Wear your favorite costumes while visiting with the animals, view a giant pumpkin carving and several exhibits.

    Columbus Italian Festival

    168 E. Lincoln Street, Oct. 11-13

    • The three-day festival annually attracts more than 35,000 visitors, celebrating with the finest food, entertainment and Italian culture.

    High Spirits Art and Music Festival

    High Street and Gay Street, Oct. 12 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

    • The festival will feature food vendors, art demonstrations, circus performances and more along with Halloween-themed photo booths, live entertainment through the night.

    Columbus Crew vs. New England

    Lower.com Field, Oct. 12 at 7:30 p.m.

    • The Columbus Crew will face the New England Revolution in a home matchup at Lower.com Field.

    The Book of Mormon

    Ohio Theatre, now through Oct. 13

    • The musical comedy is a nine-time Tony Award winner and follows the adventures of a mismatched pair of missionaries, sent halfway across the world to spread the Good Word. Tickets for the shows are on sale now.

    Pumpkins Aglow

    Franklin Park Conservatory, now through Oct. 27

    • Visitors can enjoy a fall evening while viewing hundreds of hand-carved pumpkins illuminate Franklin Park Conservatory.

    Ohio Renaissance Festival

    Renaissance Park – 10542 State Route 73, Waynesville: now through Oct. 27
    This 16th-century village comes to life with live entertainment, food, shops and more.

    2024 county fairs in central Ohio

    Through October, central Ohio is home to several county fairs with rides, games, live entertainment and of course, food.
