COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) — A teenager has been charged in the killing of another teen while a man has been arrested for harboring the suspect.

The arrests, announced Thursday, stem from a shooting on Oct. 4 , when Carnal Mixon, 17, was found on the 300 block of Lechner Avenue suffering from a gunshot wound. He was later pronounced dead at Grant Medical Center.

Robert Clark II, 34, allegedly saw Mixon get shot. Clark then fled with the suspect and hid him away, according to Columbus police.

Clark has been charged with obstructing justice and is currently being held at Franklin County Jail.

The suspect in the shooting, a 15-year-old boy, has been charged with murder. He is being held at the Franklin County Juvenile Detention Center.

Clark is scheduled to appear in court Friday, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office’s website.

Columbus police are continuing to investigate the shooting. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Columbus Police Det. Lemmon at 614-645-2558.
