    Central Ohio Weather and Radar

A broad area of high pressure from the eastern Great Lakes to the Mid-Atlantic will keep our weather sunny and dry, with a gradual warming trend, ideal for facilitating the fall color change that will peak across central Ohio in the coming week.

The last day of the Circleville Pumpkin Show has featured plenty of sunshine and afternoon temperatures rebounding to the low 70s.

Sunday morning will dawn cool and calm for the Nationwide Children’s Columbus Marathon and 1/2 Marathon. Readings will climb from the low 40s at the start of the rare (7:30 a.m.), to the 60 degrees around noontime and low 70s in the afternoon.

As high pressure shifts east early next week, temperatures will rise into the mid-70s. Mornings will be crisp but not cold, with lows ranging from the upper 30s in the cold spots to mid-40s.

A chance for a few showers will arrive ahead of a cold front Wednesday night that will sweep in much cooler air later in the week.
