Horse dies in accident during World's Championship Horse Show at the Kentucky State Fair
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A horse had to be euthanized after an accident at the World's Championship Horse Show on Tuesday. Kentucky State Fair officials said in a release that the horse sustained injuries during a class when the bike contacted fencing that surrounds the ring in Freedom Hall. The rider did not require medical attention, but the horse was euthanized.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville-area teacher was arrested at school Tuesday after police say she showed up drunk. According to Elizabethtown police, staff at TK Stone Middle School observed Tamara Mouser on campus and believed she was intoxicated. Man Charged After Hopkinsville Hit-And-Run Crash
Police have released more information about a wreck on East 9th Street in Hopkinsville that sent a Clarksville man to the hospital Sunday afternoon. Hopkinsville Police say a car driven by 23-year-old Josaiah Brown was northbound on South Virginia Street when an SUV driven by 22-year-old Eric Chapa of Brownsville, Texas that was eastbound on East 9th Street failed to stop at the light and hit his car.
