Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) recently shared a "moose-tastic" story about a moose and her calf being reunited.

A video taken by Instagram's littlegrandadventures shows footage of a moose frantically running around a campground near Nederland. According to the video, the moose's baby had fallen into the river, which was extremely high from snowmelt.

The video shows the moose continuing to wander around the campground. Campers searched the river for the calf, and someone announced the calf had made it out of the river. The video shows the cow reuniting with her calf.

According to CPW , moose are very protective of their young. Signs of aggression include laid-back ears, raised hairs on the neck, and licking of the snout. It's also important to keep pets away from moose.
