NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Charleston County School District hopes to expand education for the Midland Park community as early as 2026. Charleston, SC - The Charleston RiverDogs Friday night contest against the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers was postponed due to rain. Thursday’s scheduled contest was also postponed. Rain delays kept Chapin/Newberry Post 193/24 from becoming the fourth and final Midlands team to qualify for the South Carolina American Legion tournament until Thursday. On Friday, it joined Lexington Post 7 and Camden Post 17 in advancing to the winner’s bracket with road victories.
