(KNSI) – Just in time for some summer heat, St. Cloud’s Pop-Up Splash Pad is back this Saturday. Temperatures are scheduled to climb into the low 90s, perfect conditions for running through the spray of a fire hose. The event is scheduled from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Rotary Park, 1507 Goettens Way.
Waite Park Mayor Rick Miller Receives League of Minnesota Cities’ Prestigious C.C. Ludwig Award for Outstanding Leadership
(KNSI) – Waite Park Mayor Rick Miller has been recognized for his years leading the city. Miller is the League of Minnesota Cities’ 2024 C.C. Ludwig Award recipient. The honor is named for a former League executive director and is its highest award for elected officials. The two time mayor first served the city from 1996-2001 and began his current term in 2007 after he was reelected as a write-in candidate.

Three people are injured in a crash in Otter Tail County
(Otter Tail County, MN)--Three people are injured in a two-vehicle crash in Otter Tail County. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash took place on Friday on MN Hwy 78 in Rush Lake Township south of Perham. A Chevy Silverado, driven by Jordan Muench, 22, of Perham, and a Subaru Outback, driven by Cassandra Nelson, 20, of Ottertail, were both traveling southbound on MN Hwy 78 when the two collided.
