Trial for Sheridan Man Charged with Aggravated Assault and Battery Remains Scheduled for Next Month
A pretrial conference for Brice Graves of Sheridan was held this past Thursday in Fourth Judicial District Court. Graves is scheduled to go to trial on August 19 for the charge of aggravated assault and battery. Public Defender Anna Malmberg said at the hearing that the State did submit an offer for a plea agreement, but that her client (Graves) still had some questions and issues that he wanted to discuss with her about the plea deal.
Spearfish Senior Citizen Center Fundraiser
The Spearfish Senior Center will be having their monthly fundraising breakfast on Saturday July 27, 2024 beginning at 7:30am until 10am. Pancakes, eggs, & sausage, or biscuits with sausage gravy, & eggs, will be offered with juice and coffee or tea. Open to the public – everyone welcome! Aberdeen sledding hill gets $50,000 donation
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A project to make a sledding hill in Aberdeen safer took a big step forward this week after receiving a large donation. Glacial Lakes Energy donated $50,000 to Leadership Aberdeen to help it purchase a snow maker machine and snow groomer at Baird Hill. The donation is part of a $240,000 plan for updates to Baird Park.
