2026 four-star cornerback Brody Jennings commits to Michigan
Another Floridian is bound for Ann Arbor in the junior class. The first commitment to stem from the BBQ at the Big House just dropped, and it’s a bit of a surprise — 2026 four-star cornerback Brody Jennings. The 6-foot-1, 175-pounder hails from Jacksonville, Florida and was in attendance for Michigan’s midsummer recruiting event this past weekend. Jennings was offered by defensive backs coach LaMar Morgan back in June, so this recruitment really didn’t take long to take liftoff. Other than Michigan, Jennings has other offers from Florida, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Michigan State, Kentucky, Louisville, Missouri, Maryland and others....

Florida’s gas price average fluctuates mid-summer
ORLANDO, Fla. — Gas prices in Florida continue to fluctuate. AAA reported early last week Florida’s gas price average increased 11 cents to $3.55 per gallon. The state average has since declined nine cents to $3.38 per gallon, which is about three cents higher than a week ago.

11-Year-Old Charged in More Than 20 Swatting Calls Against Schools
An 11-year-old kid in Virginia has been charged in Florida with making more than 20 swatting calls in the Sunshine State, predominantly against schools, according to local police.
