TAPinto Neptune/Neptune City has put together a guide of events and live performances taking place this weekend throughout the community. The annual Art Fair For the Sea will take place in Volunteer Park from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 27. This free community event will feature live music, food and arts and crafts vendors. NEPTUNE CITY/NEPTUNE TOWNSHIP, NJ — Wondering what's happening in and around Neptune/Neptune City this weekend? TAPinto has put together a guide of events and live performances taking place throughout the area!
At the Boardwalk Pavilion in Ocean Grove, there will be musical entertainment with Gospel Music Ministries, Patrizsha & The Soulterior Motives Band from 7 to 8 p.m.
Newsies Jr. will be presented at the Ocean Grove Youth Temple, 21 Pilgrim Pathway, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The Headliner Day + Night Club, 1401 Route 35 in Neptune City will host live music with The E-Boro Bandits at 7 p.m. outside at The Oasis Pool Bar.
Saturday, July 27
The annual Ladies' Auxiliary Summer Market Place Sale will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Auditorium Pavilion in Ocean Grove.
The annual Art Fair For the Sea will take place in Volunteer Park, 155 S Riverside Drive in the Sharks River Hills section of Neptune Township, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. This free community event will feature live music, food and arts and crafts vendors.
At the Jersey Shore Arts Center in Ocean Grove, an Improv Drop In Class will take place from 1 to 2:15 p.m. All experience levels are welcomed, and it is $25 to participate. Those interested in joining the fun must register online here .
The 27th Annual Summer Benefit for the Shark River Hills Volunteer First Aid Squad will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. at The Headliner Day + Night Club. Shut Up Gus will perform throughout the event. A $15 donation includes admission and one drink. There will be a gift auction, food specials, a volleyball game, and more. Tickets are available at the venue and from any Shark River Hills First Aid Squad Member or by contacting srhfas@neptunetownship.org .
Sunsets Riverfront Bar & Restaurant will host live music by Misguided Ego from 6 to 9 p.m.
Kelly’s Tavern at the Jersey Shore will host live music by Eamon Ryan from 6 to 9 p.m.
MJ's Restaurant Bar and Grill, will host live music by Pocketful Express from 7 to 10 p.m. A live viewing party for the UFC 304: Edwards vs. Muhammad 2 fight begins at 10 p.m. with no cover charge.
In Ocean Grove, Praisefest, A Night of Worship will take place from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at The Great Auditorium, 21 Pilgrim Pathway.
At the Jersey Shore Arts Center in Ocean Grove., 66 S Main Street, ComedySportz Jersey Shore will present its weekly improv comedy show at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available online here .
ComedySportz Jersey Shore is a fast-paced, interactive improvised comedy show played as a sport. Attendees will witness a match of wits and bits as the Red Team and the Blue Team compete for the audience’s laughs! This event is rated “E” for everyone as it is open to people of all ages.

In Ocean Grove, former MLB star, Darryl Strawberry will present a Sunday Service from 10:30 a.m. to noon in The Great Auditorium.
At the Ocean Grove Boardwalk Pavilion, Gospel Music Ministries and Pillar College Ministry will be presented from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Ocean Grove will host its weekly Songs on A Sunday Afternoon showing at 3:30 p.m. with a performance by Monica Ziglar, Soprano.
At the Ocean Grove Boardwalk Pavilion, Gospel Music Ministries: Don Lundgren/Violin Hymn Pgm will be presented from 4 to 5 p.m.
Kelly’s Tavern at the Jersey Shore will host live music by Greg Aulden from 5 to 8 p.m.
Sunsets Riverfront Bar & Restaurant will host live music by The Pickles from 5 to 8 p.m.
At the Ocean Grove Boardwalk Pavilion, Gospel Music Ministries: Shore Christian Church Choir-Asbury Park will be presented from 7 to 8 p.m.
