A 46-year-old motorcyclist was killed in crash on the southbound Garden State Parkway in Monmouth County on Sunday night, officials said. Jason Ball was riding south in Tinton Falls at about 9:35 p.m. when he lost control of the motorcycle while attempting to leave the Parkway at Exit 102, State Police said.

Unlicensed driver fled scene of fatal hit-and-run, cops say
A man who does not have a valid driver’s license has been charged with fleeing the scene after fatally striking a pedestrian. John Marrone, 68, of Seaside Park, is accused of taking off in his Ford F-150 after striking 48-year-old Gonzalo Jimenez-Hernandez at the intersection of Route 166 and Old Freehold Road in Toms River, the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement.

A 68-year-old Seaside Park man was charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident after striking and killing a pedestrian in Toms River Sunday afternoon, authorities said. John Marrone was also charged with causing death or injury while driving a suspended or revoked driver's licence, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said in a statement.
