Santoshi Karki, Businesswoman and Educator in London, Crowned Mrs. Nepal Universe 2024

Santoshi Karki has been crowned Mrs. Nepal Universe 2024 in a competition organized by London Fashion House. As the titleholder, she will represent Nepal at the 47th Mrs. Universe pageant.

Nepal has participated in the Mrs. Universe pageant for nearly five years, and Santoshi expressed her determination to bring home titles this year. Mrs. Universe is the longest-running beauty pageant for married women, having been held for 47 years. This year’s competition features married women aged 18 to 55, and Santoshi, who serves as the Secretary General of the International Youth Entrepreneurs Federation of the UK, believes her leadership experience will enhance her presentation.

She is currently teaching at a university in London. In addition to her academic work, she runs a restaurant business in London and is a mother to an 8-year-old son. She stated, “I will provide more information about Nepal on the international stage.”

Originally from Solukhumbu, Santoshi has lived in the UK for the past 15 years. After completing her 12th grade in Kathmandu, she participated in Miss Tin 2007 and secured the top title at Mr. and Miss Tin College 2008. She credits her earlier pageant experience as a factor in winning the Mrs. Nepal Universe title.

Santoshi has completed all necessary training for Mrs. Universe under the guidance of choreographer Rosin Shakya. The competition in Seoul, South Korea, begins on October 3. Manisha Dangol Shrestha, the organizer of Mrs. Nepal Universe and president of London Fashion House, and Indira Maharjan, the official makeup artist, have supported her grooming for the event.
