Sunbury Resident’s Social Media Remarks Leads to Controversy
SUNBURY – It was a tumultuous Sunday and Monday in Sunbury, all thought to be tied to a social media post. The shooting of Pres. Trump Saturday apparently prompted one critic to say on social media, it would have been better if Trump was hit ‘square on.’ The post was pulled down by X but not before the controversy went viral.
Charges Held for Court in Pottsville Car Dealership Theft
Charges were held for court after a preliminary hearing against a former employee for stealing from a Pottsville car dealership. On May 31st, 2024, Mark Douglas Hall Jr., 34, of Vandalia, OH was charged by Pottsville Police Detective Joseph Krammes with felony theft by deception, receiving stolen property, theft by unlawful taking, theft by failing to make required disposition of funds, and criminal use of a communication facility and misdemeanor misapplication of entrusted property and property of government or financial institutions.
