Some members of Allentown Central Catholic’s football team always keep a reminder of last season’s abrupt ending nearby. “We were all heartbroken. We didn’t expect that outcome,” said senior Maksim Godbolt of the Vikings’ defeat to rival Bethlehem Catholic in the District 11 Class 4A final. “This year, we’re using it as motivation. Wyalusing School District changes cell phone policy ahead of new school year
Wyalusing Valley Junior/Senior High School will be implementing new cell phone guidelines for the upcoming school year. According to the school district, cell phones will be prohibited in the school building and on campus including in classrooms, study halls, hallways, gyms, locker rooms and bathrooms during school hours unless specifically allowed by administration.
Fundraiser for Manna for the Many
SHAMOKIN – They’ll be a fundraiser for the Manna for the Many program this weekend. The nonprofit food pantry in Shamokin is holding a donation drive Saturday from 8-4. At 10:19 a.m., a New Jersey State Trooper began following an SUV on Route 80 eastbound and initiated a traffic stop, the Warren County Prosecutor's Office said. Tractor-Trailer Driver Killed In Fiery Carbon County Crash
The crash happened around 3:40 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14 in Kidder Township near mile marker 279, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
