Bar Smith is in a world of legal trouble. Police in Nevada picked up the former reality TV personality on July 7, and the charges are pretty serious. According to Us Weekly , Smith was charged with second-degree kidnapping and domestic violence. While reports did not name the victim, Teen Mom: The Next Chapter fans theorize that Ashley Jones was involved in the incident.

While Smith was arrested in Henderson, Nevada, he doesn’t reside in the state. Smith lives in California while Jones and the child she shares with Smith set down roots in Nevada. It is unclear if Smith will be allowed to return to California while he awaits trial or if he’ll be expected to remain in Nevada until his court issues are settled.
