Detectives from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office & Eureka Police Department are actively seeking Nicholas Combs, age 39. Mr. Combs is 6 feet tall and weighs 175 pounds. On June 28th, Nicholas allegedly committed an arson in the city of Eureka for which a felony warrant was issued for his arrest.
Motorcyclist hospitalized in Bardstown Road crash over the weekend has died
A motorcyclist hospitalized after a Bardstown Road crash on Saturday afternoon has died from his injuries, Louisville Metro Police said in a statement Thursday morning. LMPD spokesman Dwight Mitchell said witnesses told the department they observed a motorcycle traveling “at a high rate of speed” run a red light at the intersection of Bardstown Road and Tyler Lane. After, Mitchell said, the driver “was thrown from the motorcycle and struck a vehicle that was operating eastbound on Tyler Lane.”
LMPD: Woman in custody after young boy found wandering the street in west Louisville
