    Let’s admit it, here in the SouthCoast there is quite an addiction to fried clams. It’s a nostalgic taste of summertime when you bite into those perfectly fried morsels.

    Did you know there was a National Day just to celebrate your favorite seafood treat? National Fried Clam Day has been celebrated on July 3 since 2015.

    Since their inception in 1916 in Essex, fried clams have been a New England staple featured on many area menus.

    To celebrate National Fried Clam Day, we have compiled a few mouthwatering fried clam options for you to taste test.
