NEW BEDFORD — Downtown New Bedford is soon to be lined with classic cars, the sounds of rock and roll, and the aroma of mouthwatering food, as the beloved Joe Jesus' 50's Night returns.

In its 33rd year, this iconic event is a community celebration brought to life by the late Joe Jesus and continues in his memory. It's a night of nostalgia as the area is transformed back to the 50s with hundreds of vintage and rare antique cars showcased along Union Street in New Bedford.

“50’s Night was a brainchild of my grandfather, Joe Jesus, that over the decades has become a pinnacle event forthe City of New Bedford. In concert with our newly formed not-for-profit planning committee, it’s an honor to keep this tradition going forward,” said Dawn Mahler, president of the Joe Jesus 50's Night Committee in a press release.
