NEW BERN, N.C. (WNCT) — The Craven County Sheriff’s Office’s K9 Unit is having a festival called Friends of the Craven County Sheriff’s Office (FOCCSO) Fest Saturday.

The event aims to raise money to help K9s and other animals in the area through equipment, training, or medical services. There will be craft vendors, food trucks, a jeep show, K9 demos, and a dunk tank with Sheriff Chip Hughes inside.

“They have all the different animals available for them to pet and see and get to watch the dogs and get to meet the people protecting the animals!” Sergeant Hopper with the Craven County Sheriff’s Office said.

The event lasts from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Creekside Park in New Bern.
