Texarkana honors community member by naming street after her
TEXARKANA, Ark. (KSLA) - For more than 70 years, a Charles Street home in Texarkana has been the residence of Thelma Evans. Born in 1921, Thelma is now 103 years old. Her neighbors and the City of Texarkana Arkansas recently honored the centenarian by naming part of the street after her.

ANTLERS, Okla. (KXII) - Pushmataha County Sheriff BJ Hedgecock says the Antlers community can rest easier now that 20 year-old Kristopher Coffelt is behind bars. Jeff Moore from Batesville caught this 25-inch brown trout and released it after the photo was taken to fight another day. He caught it earlier this week, just upriver of Jenkins Fishing Service dock in Calico Rock. The water was in perfect shape at this time, but by midweek, flooding in north Arkansas had caused the river at Calico Rock to rise to 18 feet. In other spots, overflowing water wrecked some trout docks and caused significant damage.
