Schlitterbahn’s Shipwreck Bar & Grill Will Undergo Renovations This Summer

Schlitterbahn Waterpark & Resort in New Braunfels plans to renovate its dining concept Shipwreck Bar & Grill , found just inside the park’s Blastenhoff entrance.

“ The scope of work consists of a renovation of the existing bar patio space as well as a new addition of wood framing and roof covering to expand the covered patio space,” public records state.

If all goes according to plan, construction will begin this summer on June 3 and be completed by July 31. Local firm Open Studio Architecture is tasked with carrying out the project for an estimated $125,000.

“Our menu is full of food favorites for the whole family. You’ll find exactly what you are looking for with many favorites on the menu, including waffle fries, chicken tenders, and traditional cheeseburgers,” the concept shares on the Schlitterbahn website .

How or whether construction will affect the eatery’s hours of operation has not yet been made clear. What Now San Antonio contacted representatives at Schlitterbahn New Braunfels, but they could not provide additional information before publication.
