New month, same oppressive trend as central Pa. set to go under another heat advisory
The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for several central Pennsylvania counties this week and is predicting heat indexes near or over 100 degrees. Dauphin, Lancaster, Cumberland, Adams, York, Franklin, Perry and Lebanon counties are included in the heat advisory, which is in effect from noon Thursday until 8 p.m. Friday.
