KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Dozens of singers from several states gathered in Kalamazoo for an all-day event Sunday. The Kalamazoo Annual All-Day Sacred Harp Singing and Dinner on the Grounds took place from 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Drake Farmstead, with singers from Illinois, Indiana, Florida, Ohio, and Ontario, Canada making the trip.

The current price for regular unleaded gasoline is now $3.68 per gallon, a notable uptick of 14 cents compared to last month and an additional 17 cents from the same period in 2023. This price adjustment means that filling a standard 15-gallon tank now averages around $55, providing a slight economic reprieve of approximately $3 when compared to the peak prices experienced in August of last year. These figures were released by AAA-The Auto Club Group, as The Detroit News reported.

Emergency water service and gas line repairs in South Bend, traffic restrictions expected
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The City of South Bend reports there will be two areas of traffic disruption due to emergency repairs for gas line and water service. The eastbound lane of W Colfax Avenue will be closed for emergency water service repair at 220 W Colfax Ave. starting Monday and is expected to last until Wednesday.
