Red Sox closer Kenley Jansen had a rough weekend against his former team in Los Angeles, but he’ll get a few days off to refocus, and for a perfectly understandable reason. Jansen revealed to reporters on Sunday (via Alex Speier) that he’s not making the trip with the Red Sox to Denver, where they’ll take on the Colorado Rockies in a three-game set at Coors Field from Monday-Wednesday. Several small fires have been reported along Interstate 70 west of the Rifle exit near mile marker 87. The fires are scattered across the median and shoulder of the road. “There are multiple spot fires,” Colorado River Fire Rescue Public Information Officers Maria Nechkash said. “We have a response team that just got on scene probably a minute ago.”
