New ramp added outside Denver airport to make passenger pickup easier
Administrators of Denver International Airport have created an easier way for passengers to get picked up from the airport and improved the waiting area experience for drivers. In the past, when travelers wanted to leave the Final Approach cellphone lot to pick someone up at the Jeppesen Terminal, they had to take East 78th Avenue and get onto Jackson Gap Road to get eastbound on Peña Boulevard. Now, travelers can take Gun Club Road and go straight to eastbound Peña Boulevard from the on-ramp. This cuts down travel times by a lot.Airport spokesman Michael Konopasek told CBS Colorado First Alert Traffic...

Broncos roster is proof the NFL is bad at evaluating quarterbacks
The NFL seemingly has a problem evaluating the quarterback position. The Denver Broncos have been largely scoffed at for using a 1st-round pick on Bo Nix in the 2024 NFL Draft, but the criticism surrounding the Nix pick has been unfounded and clearly ignores recent history. Let's take a quick...
Red Sox’ Kenley Jansen avoiding Colorado trip due to health risks
Red Sox closer Kenley Jansen had a rough weekend against his former team in Los Angeles, but he’ll get a few days off to refocus, and for a perfectly understandable reason. Jansen revealed to reporters on Sunday (via Alex Speier) that he’s not making the trip with the Red Sox to Denver, where they’ll take on the Colorado Rockies in a three-game set at Coors Field from Monday-Wednesday. While Jansen isn’t dealing with a new injury, he explained that he’s staying away from the thin Colorado air due to prior health concerns involving his heart.

You never know where you're going to find great art in Colorado; it could be along side of an old building, like you'll find in Greeley. The problem with old buildings as a canvas - sometimes those buildings have to come down. Yes, the only thing constant is change, but it's still sad to see not only a wonderful mural go, but also a beloved bike shop.

Sean Payton says he was probably guilty of marking his territory in first season with Broncos
When Sean Payton joined the Denver Broncos last year, he quickly made it clear to everyone that it would be his way or the highway. Payton promptly kicked quarterback Russell Wilson’s personal QB coach out of the team’s facility, and he also hinted that he was not a fan of Wilson’s frequent hype posts on social media. “I kind of use this term, ‘A little bit more anonymous donors this season,’” Payton said. “Just know that we’re working, but with a little bit less visibility on social media and all those other things. We’re going to get to work, and ultimately, it’s...

The plan for the area includes an influx of more residential units to complement the Piedmont apartment complex on the east end of the property, but before that can be realized, the property must include a new road on the north end of the valley floor.
