Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita is co-leading 17 states in asking a federal appeals court to rule in favor of the religious liberty of a former Brownsburg High School teacher forced to resign because he declined to use the preferred names and pronouns of transgender students — an action that violated the teacher’s sincerely held beliefs.
Indy Cornhole Classic Aims to be Largest Tournament in the Nation

Sprint Car driver Stevie Sussex had a fire in his vehicle on Friday at Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville, Indiana. He was competing during the Indiana Sprint Week. Sussex was competing in the race with Tyler Sturgeon Racing. According to the Lincoln Park Speedway website, this was the USAC Indiana Sprint Week 2024 Opener.

Chard Reid is back as the Carmel boys golf coach. The Greyhounds announced Reid’s return to the program earlier this month for what will be his second stint as head coach. Reid coached Carmel from 2014 to 2019, a period when the Greyhounds won two state championships (2018 and 2019) and finished runners-up once (2017).
