9th annual Peekskill Film Festival seeks to break record of attendees
The 9th Annual Peekskill Film Festival will launch this week on Friday, July 26 and Saturday, July 27, 2024 supported by The Field Library and the Paramount Hudson Valley Theater. This year, the Film Festival has more than 50 short films that will be shown in the historic Paramount Hudson Valley Theater. The films are eclectic and range from a mix of first-rate features, shorts, and documentaries, to animations, from diverse voices all around the world.

First Selectman Fred Camillo has announced the hiring of Kathleen Buch as the new Town Administrator and COO. Her hiring is effective September 23, 2024. Woodland is Welch’s first album of original material since 2011’s The Harrow & the Harvest, and Rawlings’ first since 2017’s Poor David’s Almanack. Route 3 eastbound remains closed following the tractor trailer crash and fire this morning in Clifton, Passaic County. Route 3 westbound reopened at 5:30 p.m., the NJDOT says.
