Region Self Storage holds ribbon-cutting ceremony for grand opening
On June 18, the locally-owned Region Self Storage held a ribbon-cutting for its grand opening at its over 13 acre complex in Merrillville. This all-new complex was designed and built by the Griffith-based contractor firm Cambridge Companies. Region Self Storage stakeholders and members of the Hobart Chamber of Commerce were present for this momentous event. After the ribbon cutting was complete, attendees were given a tour of the Region Self Storage complex, beating the heat with cold Gatorade and water. For Cambridge Companies President and Partner Jeffrey Eriks, who is also a partner in Clay Street Development and Region Self Storage, the grand opening is a much-anticipated milestone in a lengthy process.

We have celebrated those who come enjoying our time and sharing with us. We look forward to more coming this summer. The CMH Women’s Clinic is off to a great start with great success our first weeks of June. We are excited to offer these services to the women of Cordell and Washita County. The services provided will be for women of all ages, first time, menopausal, prenatal and postpartum care, the list can go on. Record-Breaking Weekend for Washita Theatre
Pixar’s animated film ‘Inside Out 2’ proved to be a winner for Cordell as record-breaking crowds converged on the Washita Theatre beginning Thursday night, June 13th. Cordell Chamber of Commerce’s Sarah Lau reported that there were a total of 298 tickets sold during the weekend and 245 tickets sold at Monday afternoon’s matinee showing alone. This was definitely a record for a Monday afternoon time slot.
