Frisbie Memorial Hospital Introduces 'Healthy Conversations' Monthly Series

ROCHESTER, NH – Frisbie Memorial Hospital has announced the launch of a new monthly health-focused discussion series titled "Healthy Conversations." Open to the public, these sessions will commence in July 2024 and will be held from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm on the third Wednesday of each month at the Strafford Conference Center, located on the hospital's campus.

The series aims to engage the community in important health topics, providing insights from a panel of esteemed healthcare professionals from Frisbie Memorial Hospital and its affiliate, Portsmouth Regional Hospital. Each session will feature presentations by physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare leaders, covering a diverse range of subjects including heart health, mental health, breast health, cancer screenings, acute rehabilitation, and bariatrics.

The inaugural event of the series, slated for July 17, 2024, will focus on cardiovascular health, featuring Christopher Terrien, MD, a renowned cardiac surgeon. Attendees can expect an enlightening presentation followed by a question-and-answer session, which will provide an opportunity for attendees to gain deeper understanding and direct advice from medical experts.

In addition to learning from specialists, attendees will have the chance to network with healthcare providers toward the end of each event, fostering community connections and personal engagement with healthcare practitioners.
