Crompton Park Pool Reopens After Cleanup

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Worcester Department of Public Works & Parks is pleased to announce the reopening of the Crompton Park pool as of noon on Friday, July 19, 2024.

The pool was initially closed on Monday, July 15, after the discovery of glass fragments in the water. The prompt action was taken to ensure the safety of the community. Maintenance crews efficiently drained the pool, meticulously removed the glass, and then refilled and chemically rebalanced the pool to ensure it met all safety standards.

The Department of Public Works & Parks extends its gratitude to the community for their patience during the closure and looks forward to welcoming residents back to enjoy the clean and safe facilities.
