Middleton Old Home Week Celebration: A Family-Friendly Extravaganza

MIDDLETON, NH – The Middleton Recreation Department has announced it is excited to host this year’s Old Home Week Celebration on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at 200 Kings Highway, Middleton, NH. This annual event promises an evening packed with fun, food, and festivities, free of charge, ensuring that every family member, from the littlest to the oldest, has a memorable experience.

The celebration will kick off with live performances by the popular Red Hat Band and SLWAC Sunrise Lake Watershed Advisory Committee, setting the perfect backdrop for an evening of entertainment and community bonding. Face painting and a variety of games will keep the kids engaged, while adults can indulge in the gastronomic delights offered by food trucks like Gary’s Food Truck and Kona Ice.

A highlight of the evening is the 'Touch-A-Truck' feature, where attendees can get up close with vehicles from Middleton's Highway Department, EMS, Fire, and Police services. This unique experience is enhanced by a New Hampshire State impaired driver simulation and a showcase of antique and muscle cars, adding a touch of nostalgia and excitement to the event.

Pie-eating contests for both kids and adults will provide plenty of laughs and spirited competition, with prizes to be won by the most enthusiastic eaters. The evening will also feature raffles, offering attendees the chance to win fantastic prizes while contributing to a good cause.
