CONCORD, NH – The Concord Police Department and the New Hampshire Food Bank are calling on the community to help fight hunger by participating in the "Stuff a Cruiser" event this Sunday, September 8, 2024. The event will take place at the Market Basket located at 15 Merchants Way from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The goal is to fill a police cruiser with non-perishable food donations, which will be donated to The Friendly Kitchen, a local organization dedicated to feeding those in need. Community members are invited to stop by, meet their local law enforcement officers, and contribute to this important cause.

Only non-glass, non-perishable food items will be accepted. This event provides a great opportunity for residents to give back to their community while making a difference in the lives of those who struggle with food insecurity.

“We encourage everyone to come out and support this initiative,” said a spokesperson for the Concord Police Department. “Your donations will help local families in need and contribute to our efforts in making our community a better place.”

The event is organized in partnership with The Friendly Kitchen and is part of ongoing efforts by the New Hampshire Food Bank to combat hunger across the state. Donations collected will go directly to those who need it most.

Stop by this Sunday to make a donation, meet your local police officers, and help stuff a cruiser with food to support this important cause.

For more information, visit the New Hampshire Food Bank website or contact the Concord Police Department.
