Man caught in Washington with nearly 1 pound of meth charged
Three years after he was arrested in Washington, allegedly in possession of nearly a pound of methamphetamine, a St. Peters man has been charged with felony drug trafficking. On July 17, 2021, a Warren County sheriff’s deputy attempted to stop a motorcycle on Highway 47 in Marthasville. The driver did not stop, instead fleeing over the Missouri River bridge. The pursuit was soon terminated in Washington.
Mo. DNR awards $50K to Delta for wastewater system improvements
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KFVS) - The City of Delta was awarded a grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to evaluate the city’s wastewater system. The grant, which totals $50,000, is part of the DNR’s Clean Water Engineering Report Grant program, according to a release. This program offers funding to small communities for wastewater engineering costs incurred in preparation of a facility plan report.

Columbia man found guilty in federal court of trafficking fentanyl
A Columbia man is found guilty in federal court of peddling fentanyl. Michael Hunt, Jr., 43, was found guilty Tuesday of one count of possessing fentanyl with the intent to distribute. It’s unclear when Hunt will be sentenced but he faces 10 years to life in a federal prison.

A St. Clair man was injured in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday morning, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
