WVU recognized by National Association of Collegiate Esports
Two members of the WVU Esports Rocket League team earned national recognition from the National Association of Collegiate Esports. During the NACE National Convention in Winter Park, Florida, July 17-19, WVU Rocket League Captain Jarret “Angel” Birch was named Rocket League Player of the Year while assistant coach Nico “Evil” Zimmowitch earned Coach of the Year honors.
WVU fall camp preview: Receivers
It's about that time again, which is crazy because it feels like just yesterday I was writing the spring camp previews. Back then, football preparation was taking a backseat to the pending basketball coaching search. This time around, fall camp will be in the spotlight of the WVU sports world. Today we continue the position-by-position preview for preseason camp. The Mountaineers went 9-4 last season, including beating up on UNC in a bowl game that ended with Neal Brown being covered in mayonnaise. West Virginia football enters the 2024 season with significant wind in its sails, so fall camp should be particularly interesting to watch next month. At this current time, there is no media access schedule.
