City council in Greene acts on a couple of agreements
The Greene City Council this week approved a grant administration agreement with the Simmering-Cory firm for the Greene Water Project. The Greene council also approved a grant agreement with the Iowa Economic Development Authority for the Greene Water Main Project.

IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - Investigators now say the man who drowned at in a pond at an Iowa City Golf Course was an employee. The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office says it found the body of 38 year-old Christopher Plowman, 38, of Tiffin, on Wednesday in a pond at Pleasant Valley Golf Course in Iowa City. The Sheriff’s Office confirmed Plowman was an employee of the golf course.
