Burpee Open at Fordhook Farm will take guests behind-the-scenes
Burpee, one of the most well-known gardening brands in the U.S., will host its annual Burpee Open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 27. The free event rooted in a rich tradition that dates back to the 1800s will take place at Burpee’s Fordhook Farm, 105 New Britain Road, Doylestown, and will feature self-guided garden tours to give guests a behind-the-scenes peek into the magic of Burpee’s gardens. There will also be food trucks, live music, horticultural speakers, and more.
Aqua PA reps talk PFAS, rates at Chalfont meeting
Two representatives of Aqua PA addressed public concerns over proposed rate hikes and PFAS contamination during a July 8 meeting with Chalfont Borough Council.
