PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A Baldwin resident has been hospitalized with Allegheny County's first human case of West Nile virus this year. The Allegheny County Health Department said the Baldwin resident experienced fever and weakness, leading to hospitalization. The health department won't be releasing any more information but said the patient reported being outside frequently.

Part of new Chester Valley Trail in King of Prussia shut down after sinkhole opens
Part of a brand new trail that recently opened in King of Prussia has been shut down after authorities in Montgomery County say a sinkhole opened up.The sinkhole was reported Wednesday morning on the Chester Valley Trail.It is now closed between Dekalb Pike and Prince Fredrick Boulevard.It's not yet clear if this is connected to Tuesday night's storms.Back in April, PennDOT shut down one lane of nearby Route 202 for a similar depression under the road.

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission will have several meetings to gather public input on the rate increases proposed by Aqua Pennsylvania Inc. (Aqua Water) and Aqua Pennsylvania Wastewater Inc. The meetings will allow customers to share how rate increases proposed by the companies would affect them. Under the proposals, the average monthly bill for a residential water customer using 3,870 gallons per month would increase by $16.10 (19.9%) from $80.91 to $97.01.
