Crossville Man Gets 8 Year Sentence
A Crossville man will spend the next 8 years behind bars following his sentencing in White County court earlier this month. 29-year-old Zakkary Hosick was delivered two 4 year sentences June 3rd on separate cases. Judge Webb handed down the sentences, one on a petition to revoke related to an October of 2023 case in which Hosick was found guilty for Stalking. He originally was given 30 months of probation, 50 hours of community service, and a 6 month stayed jail sentence. That petition to revoke was filed after Hosick was arrested in January of this year and subsequently found guilty of Violation of an Order of Protection.

TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO DRUG CHARGES FOR ALBION MAN
This past Saturday, 34-year-old Kevin M. Pickering of Albion, was arrested by Mt. Carmel Police. The arrest took place following a traffic stop involving a black 2020 Honda near 3rd & Bellmont Street. The stop was initiated because Pickering, who was driving the vehicle, had violated the Illinois Vehicle Code.
