NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WANE) – After three seasons leading New Haven football, Kyle Booher is stepping away from the program.

New Haven confirmed to WANE 15 on Friday that Booher resigned from his position. According to a social media post from the MSD of Steuben County, Booher has accepted an assistant principal and athletic director role at Angola Middle School.

Booher took over the Bulldogs’ football program in 2021. After a pair of middling seasons, New Haven enjoyed a breakout year in 2023 with an 8-2 record and a share of the NE8 title. In three seasons, Booher finished with an 18-13 record.

Meanwhile, New Haven is less than a month away from kicking off the 2024 season. The Bulldogs open their season on Friday, Aug. 23 at Northrop.
