Officials break ground on water infrastructure project in Williamstown
PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - A multi-million dollar water system improvement project is underway in Mineral Wells. COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — An Ohio University student is recovering after being bitten by a shark on July 4 while vacationing in Florida. West Virginia man reported missing in Summersville Lake area
SUMMERSVILLE, WV (WOWK) – A West Virginia man has been reported missing in the Summersville Lake area. West Virginia State Police and the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources officers are searching for a 44-year-old man from the Morgantown area, according to Lieutenant Mike Coberly with WV DNR. Coberly says the man had gone on what his family is calling a “day trip” to Summersville Lake, and called WVSP when he didn’t return home.

Kentucky doctor sentenced to prison for illegally prescribing drugs to undercover patients
PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WCHS) — A Pikeville, Kentucky, doctor was sentenced to prison Monday for illegally prescribing amphetamines to undercover patients, federal prosecutors said. Jason Stamper, 52, was sentenced to 32 months in prison after pleading guilty in a 2022 investigation where he prescribed amphetamines to multiple patients without a legitimate medical purpose, a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Kentucky said.
