Simon Says: Ripley football's new leader has been busy as year one approaches
RIPLEY, W. Va. (WCHS) — There's anew man guiding the ship of Ripley Viking football as the 2024 high school season draws closer. Ryan Simon, a long-time assistant, is set to become the 25th leader of the program, taking over for another former Viking in Steve Sayre, who was in charge of the blue and white for four seasons.

Hot dogs recalled because of lack of inspection
CLEVELAND, Ohio – AW Farms is recalling about 6,900 pounds of hot-dog products produced without federal inspection, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service. The Argillite, Kentucky, company produced the ready-to-eat hot dogs on various dates since approximately May 30, the FSIS said.
