In studio with “The Last of the Red Hot Mamas”

Cast members Ryann Redmond and Rheaume Crenshaw from “The Last of the Red Hot Mamas” joined us in studio.

The new musical follows the inspiring life of Sophie Tucker, a performer with a booming voice who persevered despite being an outcast.

“Once we put those costumes on and those wigs on it just kind of illuminated that time period. That sound of music is just so classic and it inspired so many stars that we know today,” said Ryann who plays Sophie Tucker.

“The Last of the Red Hot Mamas” runs through July 27 ^th at the Bucks County Playhouse.

“The audience has been really great. It’s been really well received especially since it’s a new show. I think people are coming not quite sure what to expect and are really surprised and happy with what they get,” said Rheaume Crenshaw who plays Mollie Elkins.
