4-star CB Jaboree Antoine is down to two schools with his weekend commitment approaching

New Iberia (La.) Westgate cornerback Jaboree Antoine committed to LSU in January before backing off that pledge late last month. The four-star quickly set a new commitment for July 20 and he will choose between two schools on Saturday.

“Going into this decision, it is going to be a tough decision and I have to decide if I am going to stay in Louisiana or go away to Florida,” Antoine told On3. “I am a Louisiana kid, I am choosing between LSU and Miami , so it won’t be easy. Both Miami and LSU are schools I like a lot, so it is a big decision for me to make.”

Antoine was committed to the Tigers for roughly six months. He is very familiar with the in-state program and Brian Kelly ‘s program hasn’t given up.

“Since I opened back up, LSU has been coming hard. Overall, things have come more together between me and the staff. There has been good communication since I decommitted and they are recruiting me even harder. Nothing has really changed and LSU is still a top school for me.”

The No. 87 prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking has visited Miami twice. He took his official visit to Coral Gables last month and the Hurricanes have been on Antoine from the beginning.

“Miami was my first offer, so since they offered, they have recruited me hard. They always check in me and my family. We have some great relationships with the coaching staff. The coaches have gotten to know me as a player, they keep it real with me and how they have gotten to know me and my family means a lot.”

When Antoine announces his commitment on Saturday, he said, “My commitment will come down to player development and who I feel can make me the player I want to be.”
