In an NHL 25 reveal trailer, which has since been taken down, New Jersey Devils Jack and Luke Hughes, along with their brother Quinn Hughes, were the featured athletes.

The Hughes brothers have recently become some of the League's most recognizable names.

Quinn, the captain of the Vancouver Canucks, took home the James Norris Memorial Trophy as the League's top defense player who demonstrated throughout the season the greatest all-round ability in the position for 2024-25.

Jack dealt with injuries and had his season cut short but still earned 74 points (27 goals, assists 47) in 62 games.

Luke just completed his first full season in the NHL and finished third in voting for the Calder Trophy, given to the player selected as the most proficient in his first year of competition in the National Hockey League. The youngest brother earned 47 points in 82 games.

EA Sports has not confirmed any information regarding the leak.

The last player to appear on the cover of an NHL video game in a Devils jersey was Hall of Fame goaltender Martin Brodeur in 2014.
