My recent visit to Pub 199 was a delightful experience. The T-bone steak was mouth-watering, although I felt it could have used a bit more seasoning. But hey, nothing a little salt and pepper couldn't fix! I also indulged in their clams, lobster, and king crab. The clams seemed a bit old, but they were still enjoyable when paired with the cocktail sauce.
The restaurant itself is massive, with a large bar in the center, perfect for catching a game. The decor was unique, featuring animal heads and fish on the walls. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I found it added to the overall charm of the place. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better.
The food portions were generous, and I was particularly impressed with the shrimp and fries. The only thing I felt could be improved was the variety in their healthy choice of potato and veggie sides. But all in all, Pub 199 is a place I'd recommend if you're in the area and craving some tasty seafood and steak.
