My recent visit to Sabor Unido was a delightful culinary journey. This quaint little diner, nestled in the heart of Little Portugal in Newark, offers a fusion of Portuguese and Brazilian cuisines that is simply divine. I was particularly impressed with the Grilled Octopus and the Brazilian Porkchop, both of which were cooked to perfection. The Churros were a sweet ending to a satisfying meal.
The restaurant's ambiance is cozy, with an option for outside seating that's perfect for a summer evening. The service was excellent, with friendly personnel and quick service. I also had the chance to try their Saturday special, Feijoada, a rich Brazilian stew made from different parts of the pig and black beans. It was as amazing as ever, with smoky meat parts that added a unique flavor to the dish.
The restaurant has undergone some remodeling, adding to its charm. The staff is always polite and accommodating, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience. If you're looking for a place that offers delicious food, great service, and a cozy ambiance, Sabor Unido is definitely worth a visit.
