I had the pleasure of dining at Bang Ga Nae recently and I must say, the black goat meat was a revelation. It was slowly steamed to perfection with scallions and paired with a homemade dipping sauce that was simply divine. The spicy mutton soup was also a standout dish, warming and full of flavor.
I also tried the steamed goat and seafood pancake, which was vegetable-based. While it was good, it didn't quite hit the amazing mark for me. However, the steamed goat and tofu on the side were a different story - absolutely delicious. The goat soup and steam goat are must-haves if you're a fan of goat and lamb like me.
The service could use a bit of improvement though. It took a while to get water refilled and to get checked out. But I could see that the waitresses were pretty busy. Perhaps some self-service options could help speed things up. Despite this, I still think Bang Ga Nae is worth a visit. The black goat meat was the best I've ever had, so moist and the sauce was amazing. The kimchi was also good. Just a heads up, their pancakes have a lot of scallions and aren't that crunchy. But all in all, it's one of my favorite spots in the area.
