The moment you step in, you're greeted with a relaxing and cool ambiance, perfect for a casual dining experience. The complimentary bread with garlic sauce is a winner right off the bat, setting the tone for the deliciousness to follow.
The tapas are the stars of the show here. The camarones, in particular, are so good that you'll want to drink the sauce! The pimientos and chorizos al vino are also worth a mention, each dish bringing its own unique flavor to the table. The traditional paella, brimming with seafood and meats, is a flavorful feast, though I did wish for a bit more rice.
The desserts are not to be missed. The pistachio cake and tres leches are fresh and absolutely delicious. The only downside might be the seating near the open window on a busy weekend night, as the noise from the passing cars can be a bit distracting. So, ask for a table further back in the restaurant. Overall, Mompou Tapas Bar & Restaurant is a must-visit for all food lovers out there. The variety of tapas and the vibrant atmosphere make it a great spot for group outings. Can't wait to go back!
