My latest culinary adventure took me to DOMODOMO Jersey City, a place that's quickly become a go-to for those in the know. From the moment I sipped on their Earl Grey Martini and Red Pom cocktails, I knew this spot was something special – the perfect balance of flavor without being overly sweet. The hand rolls here are a standout; the spicy yellowtail was a revelation with its freshness, making me wish I'd ordered more.

The grilled octopus, a dish I particularly savored, was a symphony of tenderness, perfectly paired with marinated mushrooms and potato chips. While the squid ink pasta's creamy sauce was a delight, the texture didn't quite hit the mark for me. The Korean BBQ set and oyster mushroom handroll were decent, though the latter's strong kimchi flavor wasn't my favorite.
